Improptu Heading
Ok, I pushed the BlogThis! button up the top there and got some strange little window popping up, which I can only presume is a posting window from the layout. I wonder if this will work...
Well anyway, it's my first break of the week, 9.00 am on monday. This week should be kinda cool uni-wise, I only have one more assignment-like thing to do, I have no tuesday and I go home early every other day. Today is pretty much like normal though, so damn.
Had a Karate demo at the susono-japanese fair that was in frankston on sunday. It was pretty decent, after the demo I got to wander around for free, checked out some of the cool paintings and stuff, along with the tea ceremony. Some of the paintings were really awesome, there were four big ones, one of each "god" (they're more like spirit thingys I guess); the dragon, the pheonix, the turtle and the white tiger. They had little cards attached to them explaining about each of them as well, they were pretty classy.
Didn't do much after that, went home, watched some Buffy with Jason and Kiah before going to the pool comp. We both lost in the first round, which sucked. I played even one of the people I beat last week. It was a reasonably close game though, and I played fairly well, so I'm not too cut.
Exams next week, and then sweet, sweet freedom! FREEDOM! It shall be glorious. I have no intention of getting a job or anything, but LSD needs tending to and maybe we can make some cash with that. Also, I need my viola to be built already! The sooner I get it, the sooner I can get used to the freaky number of strings it has and learn to play it properly, and then play some cool music! Who knows, maybe we'll get good and be able to play at some places.
