Timetable ahoy!

(Timetable removed due to screwing with my navbar)

So there it is folks, my timetable for semester 1 2005. I've been cut some slack this semester, I only have 20 hours a week, instead of 25 or whatever I was doing before. That timetable is looking pretty good; Monday and Thursday are nicely filled, so that i won't be waiting around for hours wasting time till wushu training, I am finished by 11 on tuesday and wednesday and I only have 1 hour on friday, from 1 till 2. Mmm, sleep.
So, i'm quite happy with that. There is a clash on thursday, but it's only with a first year physics lecture, so that can simply get the flick.
I have such variety this semester, both maths AND physics! Whenever I go to a class, it will be either maths or physics. I wonder what effect that will have on my brain.

So,I guess I havn't blogged in a while - what has been happening you ask?
Well, I had to go up to uni several days in a row a little while back to sort out my new course. Damn administration, making it much more difficult than it needs to be, what with all their "regulations". Bah. And they're making me do first year physics, despite me knowing most of it already. Has to be done to complete the major apparantly. Hopefully, I shall simply ace it. Not that it will make much difference, as long as i pass it shouldn't affect anything really. If I want to do an honours year then only the marks in 3rd year subjects matter. Oh well.

Also, on my brothers birthday we scored a fancy keyboard, as a combined present thing. Its pretty cool, it has a decent number of keys and some nifty features. Its a little trippy to me because middle C is a bit lower than I'm used to, not so much in the middle. The keys extend into the high range more than the low range you see. This can be changed with the octave shift function however, with which one can shift the entire keyboards tonality up or down an octave. I like that feature.

A little while back a few of us went to go see House of Flying Daggers. That was a cool movie, but then I always think those movies are cool. They have such quality fight scenes. It makes Buffy's fighting seem fairly crap, she gets hit in the face a lot, she doesn't seem to have very good defence at all. I could fight better than her, except that I don't have super-strength, so my punches probably wouldn't hurt demon creatures as much. She should really use weapons more often as well. Its slighty insane taking on massive beasties with your fists. Perhaps she wouldn't die so much if she did.

Hmm, not much more has happened really. Except that my computer died again and we're going to buy a new hard drive for it to try and deter future deaths. Also my download of a 500 meg game was corrupted somehow and my second attempt was terminated by the computer dying and required windows to be reinstalled. So I'm downloading it again. It'll have wasted about 1.4 gig of my monthly transfer by the time I finally have the thing, but we have 10 gig all up so it'll probably be ok.

Getting bored actually, everyone has tafe and crap now. Damn you people with lives. Oh well, uni starts next week too, then we'll all have lives.
