Monash Philharmonic Society 25th Anniversary Concert
When: Saturday 6 October at 6.30pm
Where: Robert Blackwood Concert Hall, Building 2, Clayton campus
Ticket prices: Adult $25, Pensioner, Seniors and Students $15, Monash CommUNIty card holders $12, Child (under 12) $10
Please note: Companion Card is accepted. Infants under 2 years of age are complimentary.
Wheelchair seats need to be purchased by telephone booking only.
Running time: 2 hours 20 mins inclusive of 20 minute interval

There also seems to be some kind of online booking available through the Robert Blackwood Hall Box Office website, dunno how it works but feel free to try.
You don't have to book tickets, but seats are allocated so you might get crap ones if you just rock up. Also you won't have to wait in a line if you book. Or at least the line will be shorter, or something.

The world around us
I've just been having a look through the Wikipedia "feaured images", there are some pretty amazing pictures in there. I thought I'd stick up some of my favourites for your viewing pleasure. Larger versions can be found through wikipedia, I recommend checking them out coz these little pictures don't quite convey the majesty of the large ones. See if you can guess what they are, I'll stick up the answers in a few days. Some are easier than others :). No cheating! (Ok, so the file names make them kind of obvious...)
