Earthrise

Take a moment to appreciate the smallness and fragility of the Earth and the entire human race with this extremely famous and historically significant photograph:

"Taken by Apollo 8 crewmember Bill Anders on December 24, 1968, showing the Earth seemingly rising above the lunar surface. Note that this phenomenon is only visible from someone in orbit around the Moon. Because of the Moon's synchronous rotation about the Earth (i.e., the same side of the Moon is always facing the Earth), no Earthrise can be visible from the surface of the Moon." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:NASA-Apollo8-Dec24-Earthrise.jpg

Unproductivity

Man, this Spore creature creator is so terrible for my productivity. It was probably a bad idea to download it to my uni computer. I wasted a bunch of time today building this guy:

This one is Karen's fault, though it turned out pretty well, in a horrible monster kind of way. I made sure to share it online :).
