null static void
Heh, crazy java. I'm sure I'll learn what those words can be replaced with sometime, but for now we just get told to bung all those at the start of every method. Actually, I know that static means that other objects can't screw with the method and that void means the method doesn't actually return anything, but i'm not too sure about null...
Anyhow, it has apparently nearly been a month since I've updated :P. Sat Mar 13 says the timestamp on the last post. Ahh well, I've been busy, sort of. I did have a bunch of tests and assignments due this week, though the only stressful part of that was one of the members of one of my groups didn't send me her part of the assignment until 7.00pm the day before it was due. Damn her. Oh well, at least she did actually send it in the end, despite its somewhat poor quality. Hmm, lets see what's happened in the last month...
Well, I failed my P's test a while ago, that sucked, but I'm trying again next friday so hopefully that one goes much better. At least I passed the crappy computer test and don't have to do that crap again. Also went to see the penguins on phillip island a while ago, they were reasonable cool, although not as swarming as I was hoping for. Oh well.
Went bowling with a couple of days ago, nice little conglomeration of people from school there. I sucked in the first game but bowled 150 in the second, so that wasn't too shoddy. We got hotdogs and chips with our deal too, so that was a nice bonus.
In other news, my kendo is getting better I feel. My MEN cuts are getting pretty reasonable I think. They don't feel as dodgy as they used to in any case. I'm getting my uniform for that soon too, so that will be fun. Kendo has such a cool uniform :P.
Hmm, ah yes, will hopefully be going to some cool market on wednesday to purchase some cheap swords, I heard i can get 3 for $35, which is fricken cheap! Jason said they even looked pretty good. Very odd I think but if it gets me cheap swords I'm not complaining. I'm going to have to head down to the police station sometime soon too to try and get a permit for the things. Hopefully I can, I have no criminal record or anything. I'm possibly going to have to prove I can store them locked up though, whih could be a problem cause I can't right now. I can at least find out if I have to be able to prove it first, then go out and build me a big cabinet for them afterwards. The permit better not cost a fortune either or some heads will roll! Damn gangs cutting off peoples hands. And damn those legislators and their short-sighted views! Always attacking the symptoms, not the cause *shakes head*. How sad. Anyway, they're all making it very inconvinient for me. Stupid permits. I do have to get one though, otherwise they can fine me $12,000 and toss me in prison for a while just for owning the swords. It's bullshit I say. BULLSHIT!!!
